Only 3 hours drive from Puerto Princesa is the sleepy beach town of Port Barton (part of San Vicente). Since we found out about this place, we have been here thrice already because of the accessibility versus El Nido which takes 5 hours drive from Puerto. Another plus factor is that there aren't so much tourists. I'm always surprised to see we are the only Filipino tourists each time we go.

I've been on the run for a few weeks. Montri and I took a few days to ourselves in Bangkok to celebrate his birthday then without a blink, Santi and I crashed my family's vacation in Cebu and Bohol plus spent a few days in Bahay Kalipay to escape the fumes of our newly painted home. One of the reasons why we moved to Puerto Princesa was so that my family can live healthier, gearing towards a more sustainable life. Quite a goal, but doable if you ask me.
